The Village Building Company is proud to support the Ricky Stuart Foundation in the delivery of its newest independent living home in South Jerrabomberra.

This landmark project was made possible through a $5.14 million grant from the NSW Government and our Company’s donation of land, reflecting a shared commitment to building inclusive communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Creating Opportunities for Independence

The new home will provide young people with disability the chance to live more independently, while staying connected to friends, family, and the wider South Jerrabomberra community. By combining purpose-built housing with Village’s vision for a welcoming neighbourhood, this initiative ensures residents can enjoy both independence and belonging.

For Village Building Co., the project represents more than bricks and mortar — it’s about creating spaces that foster dignity, opportunity, and community spirit.

A Proud Community Partnership

The opening event was a special moment, bringing together community members, project partners, and government leaders to celebrate what this home represents. Among the speakers on the day were:

🎤 NSW Minister for Regional NSW, Tara Moriarty
🎤 Ricky Stuart, Ricky Stuart Foundation
🎤 Member for Monaro, Steve Whan MP

Each reflected on the importance of providing real opportunities for people with disability and the power of community partnerships in making projects like this possible.
