Village partnering with the MBA Charity House Project

29 October 2018

We are proud to be partnering with Canberra community foundation, Hands-Across-Canberra and the MBA ACT to deliver a brand new home for the MBA Charity House Project

The house, to be built in our Weston development, will be auctioned with the proceeds going to numerous local Canberran charities under Hands Across Canberra.  ACT Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, made the announcement of Village’s contribution to the initiative at the Hands Across Canberra annual fundraising luncheon on Friday, 26 October 2018.

Travis Doherty, Village CEO said, 'In our 30th year we wanted to be a part of something that made a difference to the lives of Canberran’s.  We knew we couldn’t do it alone and the synergies between our business, the MBA ACT and Hands Across Canberra were obvious making this amazing project a stand out and one we just had to be a part of.  As a company that is Canberra born and bred, we are absolutely wrapped and so proud to be the first fully private sector funded sponsor of a Charity House in the ACT.'
