The Big Banana Fun Park is the biggest and best fun park on the Northern NSW coast. Located at Coffs Harbour, it offers a full day of family fun set amongst the bananas, overlooking the amazing Coffs Harbour Coastline.

What’s new?

Most Australians are familiar with the iconic Big Banana in Coffs Harbour – it’s been a favourite for visitors to the Northern NSW Coast and road trippers for more than 50 years.

The Big Banana has been recently rebranded to become The Big Banana Fun Park and the rebranded park now includes a water park, mini golf, ice skating, toboggan, laser tag, a theatre and plantation tour, candy kitchen, café, gift shop, The Cheesemaking Workshop, The Opal Centre and nursery.

Re-branding has continued to develop around the park with new and improved signage, giving visitors a clear understanding of the new direction of the business.

The Water Park

The new water park opened in 2015. It’s the largest of its kind between Sydney and the Gold Coast. The water park has raised perceptions of the Big Banana and provided the opportunity for the re-brand.

Safety and environmental improvements

Additional safety and environmental improvements have taken place in the park including line marking of the car parks, improvements to the grounds/gardens, further improvements to signage around the park, various upgrades and improvements to outlets and attractions, new uniforms for staff and a new website. A new solar system was installed to help reduce energy costs and assist in moving towards a more sustainable business.
A number of new safety initiatives have been implemented including helmets & guards available free to hire in the ice rink, speed humps, line marking and safety signage, non-slip step tread highlighting around the park and a large number of repairs and improvements to the infrastructure.
